A new clinical trial map is now available on the public website of the Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS), offering patients and healthcare professionals real-time, comprehensive access to clinical trials across the EU.

This interactive map simplifies the search for clinical studies by geographic location and medical condition, supporting queries in lay language with an autocorrect feature for misspellings. It also provides contact details for investigators, allowing interested individuals to directly enquire about potential trial participation. Initially launched in English, the map will expand to include additional EU languages in future updates.

The initiative is part of the Accelerating Clinical Trials in the European Union (ACT EU) workplan for 2025-2026, responding to requests for a more user-friendly interface within CTIS.
