We are pleased to share that RPN colleagues, Lucia Piampiani, Salvatore Pirri, and Chiara Pieve attended the 3rd ISPOR GIRF Congress held in Bologna on June 19-20, 2024.

This event is a landmark for young professionals willing to be on top of the most recent and challenging issues of the decade as the use of AI in healthcare, the first steps of CSE new AIFA Commission, and the impact the new EU HTA Regulation on local processes.

Lucia Piampiani and Chiara Pieve presented  an interesting poster titled: "Il ruolo di designazione PRIME, Breakthrough Therapy, Accelerated Assessment nell’accesso al mercato in Italia: un’analisi di correlazione tra percorsi di approvazione regolatoria, riconoscimento innovatività e tempi di accesso."

Futhermore, our colleagues, Salvatore Pirri had the honor to chair one of the oral presentation sessions at the congress.

Crucial topics have been covered including the following and many others:
- Cost-effectiveness analysis between antivirals for COVID-19 early treatment
- The impact of re-evaluation on drug hashtag#reimbursement timelines in Italy
- A systematic review of clinical studies in the field of hashtag#onco-hematologic diseases.

It has been a great opportunity to exchange insightful contributions and had valuable discussions. Together, we are advancing the field of healthcare and we work for making strides towards improving patient outcomes.
