4th GIRF National Congress
Our Market Access Senior Manager Claudia Garimberti and our HEOR & Market Access Specialist Clelia Calandriello were delighted to attend the 4th GIRF National Congress, this year held in Florence from June 30th to July 1st!
As professionals dedicated to Health Economics and Outcomes Research, we were honored to be part of this important event organized by ISPOR Italy – Rome Chapter and the ISPOR Rome for Future Group. After the great success of previous editions, the congress confirmed itself as a key opportunity to:
* Explore emerging challenges in the pharmaceutical sector
* Exchange ideas among young professionals, institutions, academia, and industry
* Drive innovation through multidisciplinary networking.

🔍 The poster explores the application of Italian Law 648/96, which allows the reimbursement by the National Health Service (SSN) of innovative medicines not yet authorized in Italy but already approved abroad, those in clinical trials, or used for off-label indications. Our analysis highlights the negotiation process with AIFA when a significant economic impact is anticipated.
