XVII Congresso Nazionale SIHTA 2024
Participating to the XVII SIHTA National Congress , taking place from November 5th-7th at NH Villa Carpegna in Rome has been a real success!
Lucia Piampiani, our Market Access Director and Salvatore Pirri, our HEOR manager engaged several high evel conversations with many of the experts attending the event.
Salvatore contributed to the 2024 edition presenting an oral session on the topic: "Il Value of Information (VoI): un’opportunità trascurata nelle valutazioni economiche?"
VoI is a powerful tool to reduce uncertainty and optimize the use of healthcare resources: main obgective of the presentation was highlighting how VoI can support more informed and effective decisions within the Italian healthcare system.
Although its application is still limited in practice, implementing this methodology offers significant opportunities to reduce uncertainty in the HTA decision-making process.
